While this quotation is obviously not meant to be statistically accurate, Drucker’s implication is that most companies would achieve significant improvements given the right information. CoreFocus believes that many companies do not have the level of feedback needed for their supervisors, managers, or executives to determine which activities could benefit from improvements or whether their interventions and initiatives are having the desired effect and outcome.
